Luis R. Rosas is a seasoned business attorney experienced in drafting and negotiating documentation related to complex corporate and securities law transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public equity and debt offerings, organization of Puerto Rico investment companies, commercial lending, and distribution and sale representatives’ contracts under Puerto Rico’s Law 75 and Law 21.

He is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to close and opine on loans under the SBA’s 504 Loan Program, and serves as CDC counsel and outsourced general counsel for PYMES Financial Partners, Inc., one of Puerto Rico’s top-producing 504 Certified Development Companies (CDC).

Mr. Rosas also currently serves as outsourced in-house general counsel for UBS Financial Services Incorporated of Puerto Rico and UBS Trust Company of Puerto Rico, where he provides legal, regulatory, and transactional support to wealth management, broker-dealer, and trust services operations.

Mr. Rosas is admitted to practice in New York and Puerto Rico.
